Dr. Rodolfo Venegas Delivers Course on Acoustics of Materials at UANL in Mexico

Dr. Rodolfo Venegas delivered a course on Acoustics of Materials at the Faculty of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering (FIME) of the Autonomous University of Nuevo León (UANL) in Monterrey, Mexico. The course brought together students, researchers, and professionals interested in the characterization and modeling of acoustic materials. It provided an excellent opportunity for academic exchange and scientific discussion.
It was a great honor for Dr. Venegas to share his expertise and research experience in the field of material acoustics. The active participation of the attendees and the high level of engagement throughout the course contributed to a stimulating and rewarding learning environment.
Dr. Venegas would also like to express his sincere gratitude to Prof. Fernando Elizondo, the UANL community, and particularly to FIME, for their warm welcome and hospitality. The kindness of the host and the excellent organization of the event made this academic visit especially memorable.
Beyond the academic experience, the visit provided an opportunity to discover more about Mexican culture and to appreciate the warmth and generosity of its people. Mexico left a very positive impression, both for its rich cultural heritage and for the scale and excellence of its academic institutions. Having the opportunity to teach this course at such a distinguished university was an experience that Dr. Venegas values deeply.
